So many people need to take prescriptions, either short-term or long-term, in order to treat their medical condition. These medications provide patients with the treatment they need, but unfortunately, there are medication/pharmaceutical errors that can occur that can cause the patient to suffer from great harm. If a medical professional is negligent in giving the patient their correct medication, serious injury or death can occur. The pharmacist, physician or nurse can make medication mistakes and if they do, they should be held responsible for their negligent actions.
Most medication errors that cause the patient to suffer from great harm are either from the patient receiving the incorrect dosage of the medication or the patient was given an incorrect medication.
